An AAHT certificate is valid for one or two years, after that time has past you would need to take a recertification exam. (See re-certification on the home page).

- What must I do to receive a AAHT certificate?
First, create a Technician profile. Following that, you will be able to purchase the exam that you would like to be certified in. In order to review prior to the exam, you may purchase a study guide from the home page.

No, you must take an exam at the school you attended, at another school in your area, at a AAHT testing facility or at your place of employment upon approval by a AAHT associate.

After completed your gratuduation requirements from approved medical progam for the state where you take the course
- How long is an exam?
Each exam consists of sixty (60) multiple choice questions and the allocated amount of time is one hundred twenty (120) minutes.
- When will I get my test results?
Upon completion of the exam, you will immediately receive your test results determining if you have passed or failed the exam.
