Our Story
AAHT is a family-owned business, built on the experience of a physician and surgeon who immigrated to the United States and learned a hard lesson firsthand: years of education and real skill didn't count for much on their own. In this country, education isn't enough. It has to be certified.
Starting in 2004, that experience began taking shape in the allied health certification field. Along the way, it became clear how broken the system could be — certifications that were overpriced, hard to access, or simply not respected when it counted. Talented people were held back by paperwork. So in 2013, American Association of Health Technicians was built to do something better: further help careers with certification that's fair, legitimate, and designed to open doors rather than guard them.
That conviction still guides AAHT today. At its core it remains a family business, and it exists so that families can prosper — financially, professionally, and in the satisfaction of doing work they love. A certification here is never just a piece of paper; it's a better-paying job, a steadier future, and the tools to go out and help others. AAHT was built to serve everyone, with a particular understanding of those whose journey the family shares: first-generation professionals, immigrants, and people improving their studies later in life.
