Patient Care Technician
Actually Do?
Patient Care Technicians are hands-on healthcare professionals who deliver essential bedside care — monitoring patients, collecting specimens, and supporting clinical teams to ensure every patient receives safe, attentive, and compassionate care every shift.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs including blood pressure, pulse, and temperature
- Collect blood, urine, and other specimens for laboratory testing
- Assist patients with daily activities including bathing, dressing, and mobility

- Report changes in patient condition to supervising nurses and physicians
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized patient care environment
